BSOD new build

Is a blue screen of death always an sign that there is a hardware fault within the system or can it just be windows throwing a fit? Its a new build and I've only had 1 but it does come after only a days use. It happened when waking out of sleep mode.

Could be software related or a bad overclock also.

I haven't overclocked, i'm just running everything at stock at the moment.

I'll have a little deeper look at it when I get home from work tonight. I hope it is just software as I'd hate to try and replace hardware bought less than a week ago
