BSOD now major probs

Hiya folks had a slowdown last night then a BSOD didnt see what it was before the PC reset. However it goes through bios but hangs on boot from cd/dvd.

I've accessed bios and it can only see HDD "Performance" I believe to be Raid and two others wd200 and a wd 640 so its missing my SSD drive.

The SSD is running my OS. so booting without is not poss.

How do i go about checking the ssd ( I'm assuming trying in another machine will be the 1st guess) But if its failed how do I get the data off it.

You can disable auto restart by pressing F8 at Post and disable auto restart to see the blue screen.

Thanks but it wont boot into windows now so it wont blue screen again.(but I'll disable once up and running again)

My SSD is a crucial vertex is the acronis still the best for the restore

I've ordered an Elmcrest so will install win7 and try and get the data off the vertex when back up and running.

Looks like the Vertex is dead. I can't get anything from it. Using the Jumper doesn't put it into engineering mode.

Retrospect did a backup the day it crashed but I hadn't set it up right so only did some stuff. Lost a lot of emails and most annoyingly all my website/forum passwords.

Need to research proper backups although win7 has tried to backup twice its saying not enough space.
