BSOD on W7 install.

Hello,

I just finished building my sisters computer, currently trying to install Windows 7, every time it gets to the animated windows logo I get a blue screen shutting down the computer to prevent damage.

Is this a hardware problem? :confused:

I had this issue on a recent build with Windows 8.

I found the bios had reset and without the Intel Rapid Boot enabled it kept blue screening.

Download and run men test, you might have iffy memory module.

Also check the memory voltage in BIOS.
