Hey guys, got a problem here and need some help. Basically, when I try to boot into Windows I get BSOD and it restarts. The same happens when I try to boot into safe mode too. My initial impression of that is the hard drive is failing or something like that. I seriously hope not though. I'm using XP SP2 and my spec is in my sig.
I've tried: resetting the CMOS, swapping the video card with a 6600GT, swapping out both RAM sticks, changing SATA ports for the hard drive, changing SATA power cable. None of those work. I really need some ideas here. The BSOD error only flashes for a second, and I don't have access to the option to make it so it doesn't reboot after a BSOD.
Normally I would just format to fix problems like this, but I need to backup some stuff before I format this time. Also, this just started happening for no reason. It was fine last night, but then this happened this morning.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
