Asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 | Intel Core i5 2500k
8GB G-Skill 1600MHz | Corsair 120GB Force GT SSD | WD Blue 1TB HDD
CM HAF 912 Plus | CM Silent Pro 700W | Corsair H60

AS above my setup - i have only had this rig about 3 weeks and i am constantly getting bsod - i have oc'd to 4.5ghz and back to 3.3 and everywhere in between - changed so many settings i cant remember - reset defaults and can never get back to the 3.3 and even when i get close (turning off turbo mode on cpu) i get bsod. Is there something in perticular i should be changing to sort the bsod or do i have faulty hardware? Config problem?

I would like the cpu running at 4.3. If anyone has the sane mb/cpu could u please share settings?

Many thanks in advance!

memtest works out fine :( ill upload a bsod photo from when i had everything set to default and just cpu turbo disabled (trying to get back to factory spec)

i have the non gen3 version, sitting good at 4.5ghz,ill post settings when i get time, did you manually set ram timings and ram voltage to 1.5v? you will need around 1.36-1.34v for 4.5ghz,set llc to high and voltage offset to +0.005

vccio can be left at stock 1.015v but if blue screns still test with 1.10v,but no higher than 1.2v you wont need that much

any oc i have tried on this mb i have not touched ram timings or voltages - left them as standard - i olny changed things like xml (multiplier x43) and BCLK to 100? I wouldnt know how to change other things? Am i doing wrong not changing them?

mv91xx.sys seems to be linked to a AHCI/RAID driver from Maxell. This seems your best bet:

Or check on the Asus website and ensure you have all the latest motherboard drivers.

Rest the BIOS and run everything at stock and see how you get on.

how do i reset the bios or do you mean just restore defaults? thanks for the llink ill take a look!
