So, two days ago I put together my new pc. Since then I have been having some weird problems which are starting to drive me crazy. Each morning since I started using the pc, I have got several blue screens and random shut downs. I have seen 3 different blue screens so far which are; Page fault in non paged area, Memory management & Bad pool header. However, it seems that when the pc has been started a number of times, it runs fine. For example, I struggled on yesterday morning for over 2 hours trying to figure out the problem, then I started it up once more and the whole thing ran fine until 11pm.

Any advice/help will be appreciated. Thanks, Thomas.

Is there nothing else I can do at the moment, I will have to wait for my brother to get in with his laptop to be able to create a CD.

That may have been a lot simpler than I thought. With the original slot 1 ram only, the computer doesn't boot at all. With the original slot 3 ram, in slot 1, the computer boots fine. I guess this means I have a broken stick of ram?

Hmm, I now just got a blue screen that said "an attempt has been made to write to read-only memory" :(

Edit: And now another - "System service exception"

Memory test returned no problems. Just got yet another different BSOD - "Your computer is misplacing..." - Something like that, didnt get a chance to read the whole thing.
