Right my father in laws machine is having issues. He is getting a BSOD each time he tries and starts his vista machine. I managed to grab this info wheni went round and said that i would try and see what i could find.

PFN_List_Corrupt

0x0000000A 0x00000054 0x0000001B 0x00000001

0x81FA4E79

I have tried looking up the above numbers and found what a PFN list is etc, but nothing that really helps with what to do. I am guessing that one resolution would be to re-install windows as i know that he has everything backed up fine. I know that he does have issues with drivers and he is getting to the point that he hates vista !:p, but all the same i would like to have some pointers for tomorrow rather than wipe and install !

One thing that i did think of doing is running memtest, but does memory match the above codes? Either way what do y9ou guys think?

Thanks
