Hey,

Currently having issues with the bundle (8pack overclocked, with the gigabyte 5p mobo and 5970k cpu) I bought from here and not sure if it's software or hardware related. System has been running like a dream for 2 months until this morning, where it started throwing BSOD's at me.

I updated the Killer e2200 network software to latest version, which re-installed the driver for me. I ran a bugcheck on the dmp from the BSOD, which showed netio.sys might be the culprit.

The logs are here: http://xander.org.uk/DMP_Files.zip

I'm out of ideas to try at this point and not sure what to do. The BSOD's are intermittent, but persistent enough to be a problem. Nothing has changed in the system between last night and today.

(This is a copy of a thread here: https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18715205&highlight=e2200 )

ps. I've just uninstalled the killer networking suite bundle, and installed a standalone driver for the network card. Not experienced a BSOD yet, but will provide more details if it occurs.

Bailey said to post this here.

Further information:
Received a PFN_List_Corrupt exception shortly after installing the new network driver.

I've debugged the crash dump and its a reporting WIN8_DRIVER_FAULT mentions tcpip.sys so yes you are correct.

One thing to look out for I have a Gigabyte Z97 Gaming 7 and if you install the Killer drivers from Gigabytes website it works fine. If you download latest Killer drivers from their website it blue screens.

Interesting. The only reason i updated the software from the killer website was because it BSOD'd in the first place.

The original driver was the one from the gigabyte website, so i can't really avoid installing it (no network if i don't).

I did see mention of the killer card actually just being a qualcomm chip, and that the drivers for that work ok, but it was on an old thread, and the qualcomm site no longer offers drivers for consumers.

PS: After you mentioned the gigabyte drivers, i double checked. They're listed as big foot lan drivers, not killer ethernet ones? The version supplied there is 8.1.0.25, but on the killer site, they end up being 8.1.0.31 (the release notes mention that it should be version 10, not 8, but the inf files only list version 8). Slightly confused as to what's actually changed, as the release notes on the killer site seem to be littered with mistakes.
