Always getting BSOD when I run PUBG or had it running before a restart. This acours at some random time it seems but mostly when ingame. It's some kernel issue when I look into the minidump file. For some reason I don't even get a minidump file every crash. Also some times it said that C Media driver caused the crash. That would be from the soundcard so I removed it it worked a little better but still was crashing. I also monitored the temps sometimes and it seemed fine. Crash adress the last few times was always "ntoskrnl.exe+175930" driver "ntoskrnl.exe"
Anyone got a idea what I can try to fix this?

My system:
ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K4

i5 6600K @ 4,5 GHz

Thermalright HR-02 Macho Rev.B

RipJaws V 16 GB 3000 MHz (Run Memtest one pass no errors)

MSI Radeon RX 580 Gaming X+ 8G (1430 MHz)

Samsung EVO 850 250 GB
Seagate ST1000DM003 1 TB

ASUS Xonar DGX

Straight Power 10 500 W

Win 10

Just ran IBT 50 passes on standard passed the test. But got pretty hot... I will run memtest tonight and see what that does. I did not have any Nvidia software on my PC. Never had an Nvidia GPU in this system. What I did notice in some minidumps that C Media driver was causing the crash that is the driver from the soundcard. But removing the card did not fix the problem.

Did 8 passes in 19h no errors. I guess RAM is fine than? Does Memtest run it with 3000MHz or just the standard 2133MHz? Maybe thats causing some problem with the XMP 2.0 profile? I will run IBT now on maxed out settings and see what it does.

Just started a stress test one core went up to 93°C. Thats not good I guess. I ended it to be safe for now and see what you guys think.

I replaced it yesterday and cleaned out the PC. But I just used the thermal paste that came with the cooler. Got down to 86 C in IBT after that. I wanted to upgrade my heatsink for a while. But I don't know what cooler I should get. What are good coolers without getting to expensive?

I don't want to put a custom water cooling in that system for sure. Got a package temp of 66°C while playing PUBG. It's a CPU intense game thats not even that bad I think. Thought maybe I put a Darkrock 3 Pro or something in it.
