Hello,

I have been having problems with a laptop that is blue screening now and again. It started off not happening that often but has started happening slightly more often .Whilst still happening fairly infrequently I would still like to find out the cause.

I have ran BluecreenView and the results are below, I know this may be quite obvious but was hoping someone would be able to offer some suggestions as to the cause of this?

Does this look like a software issue? The machine could do with a fresh install of Windows soon and was hoping this would resolve the issue, but wanted to confirm that people did not think this could be caused by faulty RAM?

BSOD View log is here:

Many thanks,

Have you ran memtest?
definitely the first thing to do to be sure its not that causing it.

next suspect would be the hard drive for which i use hdd regenerator (hddregenerator.net) to test with...it will tell you if any bad sectors on the drive...claims to be able to fix them which it can but sign that drives on its way out.

If they are both fine then go for a reinstall....doesnt take long and saves the grief of doing a reinstall just to be back in same place again in a few days or weeks maybe...
