Right hello people bit of a problem here,

First of System Specs:

Intel Pentium Dual Core @ 2.80GHz
Gigabyte GA-8I945PM-RH Mobo
4GB DDR2 Dual Channel RAM
200GB Seagate Barracuda
80GB Maxtor (PATA)
Stock Cooling
Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Right I bought the Custom system with a ATI Radeon HD 2400 512MB Worked fine then started getting BSODs and the Screen started going rather strange, so i took that back to the guy i bought it off and got an NVidia GeForce 6600 LE 256MB and that worked fine then thats just gave me 13 BSODs in a ROW now the Drivers and Software were both upto date at all times and the same with the Software but i still get these problems, Any help would be Appriciated GREATLY

PS: Funding isnt too great atm so i cant afford a **** hot Rig. :(

Im afraid i cant remember recently didnt get time to catch it, and its definately GPU though and it said something about it stop responding and unable to something sorry for the confusion and oh yeah im using a 500W PSU if thats pwerfull enough?

It might not be the GPU failing - the GPU is one of the most real time intensive parts of the system so its often the first thing to go (throw up an error) when theres a problem with the system. I would try memtest86+ on the RAM to make sure thats ok and check CPU temps, etc.

Thing is the System was built by a professional and i do believe his word to be the best.
One other thing could it be my motherboard?

Oh and Should i Switch to a AM3 DDR3 system?

EDIT: I got a Error code with something like ~00000116 on the end then it rebooted and i went into Safe mode

have you tried a variety of drivers?
my system started crashing recently with the new ati drivers but going back to 10.4 seems to work flawlessly

also try the system using the onboard gfx, do you have onboard gfx?

Get that memtest done. When do you get those BSOD? What brand is the PSU?
Run prime as well for an hour, and furmark for 15 mins.
