BSOD

I setup a new system last night with a DG33BU intel board and an E2160. A SATA seagate 120GB and 2x512MB kingstons.

I boot the windows XP SP1 setup, the drivers load, I format the disk and the files are copied.

Then the system reboots and the setup continuous within the windows environment, however, when it gets to "installing devices" I get BSOD with IRQ NOT LESS OR EQUAL.

This board has the G33 chipset, is this too new for the XP SP1 driver set? Why I can format the disk tho?

Any ideas?

Make sure the PC is not overclocked when you are trying to install Windows XP. Also make sure that the timings and especially voltages on your RAM are set correctly in the BIOS and it's not undervolted or overclocked.

Was there any STOP code associated with the IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD? In particular the first hexidecimal number whch could be something like "0x0000007" as it helps solve the issue. Also just to double check, was the BSOD: "IRQL" or just "IRQ" ? They are kinda different (IRQL points to drivers, IRQ points to hardware most of the time)
