Hi there. I was wondering how "normal" is to see a BSOD nowadays. I haven't seen one in years and , all of a sudden, my system crashed while playing Assassin's Creed Revelations. A BSOD and then reboot.

Should i ignore it and see if it happens again?
Should i do s'thing?
Maybe I should add that three days ago , while playing another game, we had a power blackout, which lasted for a few minutes. Could these things be connected?

Thanks! I will install it and see what happens... Better not happen again though...
Is Assassin's Creed Revelations known to cause crashes?

Thanks for the answers!
No, i didn't check s'thing in particular, EXCEPT run Bluescreenview, reccomended by a friend. The result was the following:
Mini052212-01.dmp 22/5/2012 7:41:19 μμ KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED 0x1000008e 0xc0000005 0xbd09d6f6 0xae38fad4 0x00000000 nv4_disp.dll nv4_disp.dll+8b6f6 NVIDIA Compatible Windows 2000 Display driver, Version 260.63 NVIDIA Compatible Windows 2000 Display driver, Version 260.63 NVIDIA Corporation 6.14.12.6063 32-bit nv4_disp.dll+8b6f6 C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini052212-01.dmp 4 15 2600 114.688

As i see it , it had s'thing to do with drivers.Does that give me peace of mind?
How do you check the discs and eventlog you suggested?
Again, thanks!
