Hey guys finally now got Windows 7 for my new system.
So I installed Windows 7, updates drivers before doing anything else.
Went to update motherboard and a few mins in, BSOD comes up.

I believe it is this error but I am not sure:
*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0xBA4C3524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)


Could this be a motherboard issue (btw my motherboard is a Z77 UD3H) or a windows problem, should I re-install windows 7?

Oh and after the BSOD it asks me if I want to enter the motherboard Express Recovery, I do but then when I click "backup" it says there isnt anough HDD space, but I have over 400GB's.

Double check the sata cables to your HDD(s) and power cables.

AFAIK that error code relates to a problem with the boot drive.
 
Yes just realised it was the wrong error. Hard to tell when it only hangs on for a few seconds.

I've now cornered the error down to the AHCI driver for the HDD, I havent installed it this time round and so far no problems.
 
Just got another BSOD, this time it was to do with "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION", anyone know what this is or what could be causing it?
 
I just had another BDOS, Memory Management. Wondering if faulty memory could be the cause?

Also Ive downloaded it, do I wait for another BSOD or something or what?
 
So how do I use blue screen view?
And now im taking one stick of RAM out and just using the other to see if thats the cause.

Run the program and it will list all past BSOD. Post the drivers making this happen. Memory Management can be RAM and Also HDD. A memtest will show if RAM is damaged or not setup right timings and voltage.
 
its definitely the RAM, I've tested both modules and one just hates the pc ;)
I hope no one takes me up on posting pics of me hugging components of my lol! :p
