Recently built a my first new PC thanks to u guys - However I've recently started to bluescreen when i close games or sometimes when i tab out of them.

I got told to run memtest and fell asleep and woke up to these results http://gyazo.com/f5bc31590ea942141ddf41e3511e2bdb

I have no idea what to do or what these results mean, does it mean its my ram and i need to replacement?
 
how old is the ram? memtest tests all the ram in your PC.

seems like on the last test there is 4 errors.

what does the blue screen error message say when it appears?

does the blue screen happen all the time when closing games down?

seems like one of the ram sticks maybe faulty. do you have any overclocks on the system for ram or CPU?

to confirm if its faulty ram remove one stick of ram and run the tests again, if it passes you know that the one you have removed is the faulty stick if it fails put the other stick back in and remove another then run the tests again. when you find the faulty stick of ram leave it out and use the PC as normal if all is ok then you know its faulty.

Download a tool called 'bluescreenview' and let it scan the dump files created when you BSOD, it should give you the info you need as to why you got it in the first place.
 
and no it only bluescreens around once a day if that and my CPU is at 4.0ghz dont think its overclocked and the rams at normal as well i think

Cool, one step closer.

If you right click the dump file you should get an option to Google search the code, what comes back?

Can you expand the "bug check string" field so I can see the whole message?

What is your CPU?
 
Try removing and reseating all cards, memory, and cables (both ends when possible) - actually
remove and replace - do not just snug.

3b is usually a graphic's driver (display adapter/video driver), other possibilities include
but are not limited to antivirus/antispyware/security programs and even memory (mapping).

Cause

This error has been linked to excessive paged pool usage and may occur due to user-mode graphics drivers crossing over and passing bad data to the kernel code.
 
Nevermind Google filled in the rest for me.

A lot of people are saying this is a problem with Windows, not really the hardware of your computer (could be wrong though) first thing is to try running Windows update and bring it up to scratch.

See how your system handles after that.
 
For what it's worth, I started getting BSOD's when closing games and what fixed it was lowering RAM frequency from 2400 to 1600.

Memtest returned no errors (several overnight tests), even at 2400. However, your Memtest returned 4 errors, so I'd RMA the memory.
 
It's possible you have a duff driver somewhere for something. If you go to device manager are there any drivers missing? Could try updating the chipset and GPU drivers. I'd probably start with the chipset drivers and go from there. Try a program called display driver uninstaller to make sure there are no conflicting drivers (I had BSoD issues as a AMD driver wasn't uninstalled correctly, conflicting with the new nvidia drivers)

But as others have suggested, and Google, it's pointing to the memory. Try removing one at a time, testing with just one stick. Enter the BIOS and change the frequency as Danny mentioned. Are you able to try any others? RMA might be needed otherwise.

Failing all of that, a clean install of windows with fresh updated drivers correct to your hardware

Go over to the Windows 7/8 forum, and follow their steps for what they need, and they'l get back to you, within 24hrs, with a result, and what to do.

I have used them a couple of times, and every time they're spot on.
