Since building my new system a couple weeks ago I have had 6 BSOD errors. They tend to happen randomly and not whilst doing anything particularly taxing.

I have a modest overclock (6600K @ 4.4GHz 1.2V) which is stable after 5+ passes of Real Bench and stays cool throughout.

Any ideas?

I've tried viewing the dump files but it's all a bit beyond me. I get,

Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!KeClockInterruptNotify+12a )

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.

If that mean's anything to anyone :p

What ram are you using and what speed is it at?

What other settings have you used on the overclock? Maybe try 1.25v instead - i have same as you and thats what im using.

It could be your overclock. Try reverting back to default settings and test it. If you don't receive an BSOD then your overclock wasn't as stable as you thought.

If you get a BSOD again (with default settings) then it might be your RAM not seated properly or you may have to configure your timings in the BIOS manually.

Make sure all drivers are updated as well :)

That is the BSOD I kept getting on my system that I built in June 2016 (BSOD once every 6 weeks or so, and always when on the desktop, never during gaming).

I had the XMP profile set on the DDR3 RAM, which put the volts at 1.65v. I've been increasing it slowly up to 1.72 volts now which seems to have *touch wood* fixed my issue. It has been 9 weeks since my last BSOD.
