Right, after trying to help Fox with his PC here in GD mine is now messing around.
Last night I was using XP and it was chugging really slowly, I was running FlashGet, and CoreMediaPlayer, I was downloading and watching a film. Now on a system like mine (in sig but will list below) it should not be chugging and messing the video around, and crashing. Especially on a fresh install of XP that's hardly been used as I installed XP and Vista and haven't used XP that much.
Now this morning I am using my PC and it keeps BSODing for no reason. Nothing is hot (to the touch) inside the case and the whole system was working fine yesterday.
The system is as follows;
AMD AM2 4600+ at 2.4Ghz (stock speed and cooler)
2GB Corsair XMS2 6400 4-4-4-12 running at 5-5-5-18
Asus M3N32 SLi Deluxe WiFi Edition mobo
PowerColor X1950XT 256MB
Hiper Type-R 580W
Any ideas as to what may be doing this, especially as it's a recent problem, not an ongoing one.
I am hazarding a guess as it to being the PSU...but then I have no real reason as to why it might be that.
