Hi, rig as in sig, about 3 weeks ago I had some BSOD's, memory management I believe, so I swapped about the RAM and taking out one of the $ sticks solved the problem.

Everything is then fine until a BSOD in the middle of COD4, this time its 'PAGE_FILE_ERROR_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA' or something similar..I'm thinking it may be RAM again, any ideas?

I haven't looked at it yet as it was quite late, but removing another stick will mean I'm down to 2Gig form the 4, In your opinions should I get another 2Gig pack as a replacement or go with another brand? (I mean completely replace the 4gig with say, corsair)

Cheers lads.

Test the rem using memtest. http://www.memtest.org/

I have mixed experience with that programme I'm afraid, I had a duff stick of corsair in my last rig and it passed testing with memtest:(

I'm more wondering whether the Geil was such a good idea, but you dont hear many people moaning about it.

Possibly 2 out of 4 sticks is not good though, does anyone know if the DS4 has a problem with 4 sticks of 1gig?
