Hi guys, I have been getting BSODs every 10 mins into windows.

It says Non Paged fault error or something.

Any ideas?

Make a note of the settings you've got and try it again at the defaults. If you still get bluescreens you'll know its not your overclock thats causing them.

PK!

I'm going to reinstall Vista, and install the SP1. If it is still BSODing then I know it is the overclocking that went wrong.

Surely its easier to change your bios settings than reinstall vista?? If you've got errors because it can't handle the overclock you'll probably end up getting errors while you try to install it. Seems a bit illogical to me...

PK!

I know what you mean mate, but I have been getting random BSODs before changing CPU and Overclocking. Always wanted to reinstall vista, so I'm going to do it now.

Ah, well if you'd had said that earlier I would've understood. :p Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh.

Have you tried running memtest at all? Maybe had a fiddle with the memory voltages?

PK!

Page Faults for me would normally point me to the RAM, Download MemTest86+ and see what it makes of your RAM.

BSOD, weird - never heard Vista as a cause
more likely hardware related, only BSODs I ever got were
1. crappy Nvidia/Bios issues when I built my system 18 months ago (all updated & fixed now) getting 2 hot when playing long time
2. defective RAM. twice I had to RMA

I would have to agree the BSOD (2 off) I've had in the last year were caused be dodgy nVidia betas failing to respond! Page faults are not always caused be RAM this is a preconceived misconception! Do all the usual checks try uninstalling and re-installing your VGA drivers, use something like driver sweeper in safe mode to completely remove all traces, after uninstalling them in Windows. Run Memtest to verify the RAM about 10 passes should be OK, good luck. Stop the PC from automatically resetting on a BSOD so you can have a clear look at the dumpted info and STOP error.

The ram is fine mates, I tested it ages ago before upgrading CPU and overclocking.

I already did a reinstall of vista, installing all drivers/updates now. If i still get BSODs, it means overclocking failed. Even tho I passed primetest etc...

If you do get any BSOD you might need to change your memory speed & check your voltage if you have not done so already. :)

Rob

Edit: If you could post your spec or put it as your sig it will help people who look in :)

The ram is fine mates, I tested it ages ago before upgrading CPU and overclocking.

RAM is fragile, mine originally worked fine before failing for some unknown reason. So testing ages ago is no guarantee it is still good. Might as well run mem diagnostics to be 100% sure. It's less of a hassle than BSOD.

I have now reinstalled vista.

Now I am having a weird error. After I installed GPU driver and reboot the system, it wouldn't work. Just says the driver wouldn't boot up.

And now it says my 2nd GPU isn't working.

Any ideas?

don't know your specs -> seems like you are doing SLI. Could be a PSU that doesn't have enough juice or it could be SLI just screwing up. I haven't done SLI, but have seen many threads with people having nightmares with it. You may want to check the graphics card forum section.

Sorry couldn't be much help

From many posts made by people with RAM bother, it seems that memtest does just that, tests it, but doesn't seem to put a tremendous amount of stress on it. Many people can run dozens of memtest cycles only to have the RAM drop it's guts 10 seconds into a P95 stress test or a game.
