Hi all,

Keep getting blue screen error messages since I upgraded to my new Core2Duo setup. Initially I thought it was my overclocking so I went back to stock but it's still happening.

Basically, when using Windows generally, sometimes it will hang with a BSOD. Sometimes when I exit an application, but the last time was just when I pressed next track on Windows Media Player.

The error message I get is..

BAD_POOL_CALLER

STOP: 0x000000C2 (0x0000007, 0x000000CD4, 0X024C0005, 0x89731818)

Any ideas?

Spec..

Core2Duo E4300
Gigabyte DS3
2Gb OCZ Platinum
WD 320GB AAKS
Maxtor MaxLine III 300GB
GeForce 8800 GTS
SB Audigy Original
Windows XP Pro SP2

All latest drivers. This happened both before and after I reformatted and reinstalled Windows onto a brand new HDD....

It's a device software or driver issue.

e.g. Can be Nero which can conflict with clone dvd

Usually solved quickly by reformat, but may re-occur when you reload apps.

Otherwise trial and error removal of installed apps/drivers until you find the problem.
