Hi All
I keep getting BSODs for all different kinds of reason. I've stressed my Ram and no faults. ReFormated, still same. So I'm begining to think it could be me Graphics card.
I have an Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe Mobo with a Asus GeForce 8600GT 256MB GDDR3 card. PSU is a Corsair Modular 520W.
I do NOT need a top end card. Probably something like a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5570 1024MB or Lower. Something really Good below the £80 mark.
I use for internet, photography (a lot) and all kinds of general use. NO GAMES.
Your valuable info will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Dennis.

If you need a card more for proffessional use, I would advise you get an Nvidia card.

The whole cuda thing, is a lot more supported in the industry, as opposed to ATI's efforts.

Maybe get a cheaper 200 series GTX card.

Mmmmm! I took the card out and some bloke poped up with two fingers. :) :) :).
He then shouted--What's a continutes!!!!???

This is my second PC build from OC with an Asus mobo. The first un the mobo clapped out on me. Now repaired but is put away as a standby.

Now this one been giving me BSODS for months. Done a few reformats, stressed the RAM, so can only think of it being graphics card. It will go for days, then will Bsod for no apparent reason. Or will go for a few minutes then Bsod, restart, then go for ages or days before another bsod. Not overheating as far as I can determine.
What do you think about the GT240??? Any Good ?
