I have a problem with my computer that is, when my computer is perfectly idle, most of the time when I am not using it, it will BSOD with the error code 0x101, which I know means insufficient voltage to the CPU but, it's perfectly fine when at 100% cpu usage, it's stable as a rock. I have all power saving features turned off. I can't figure out the problem on my own.

Can anybody help?

EDIT : Ignore my signature, the CPU is currently at 4.5, just to make sure it's not insufficient voltage.

If I understand it correctly the voltage to your cpu isnt at a constant level. It will rise when the CPU is under stress and drop (due to power management features) when the thing is idle or not being used much. It is possible that when it drops it is dropping too low. I have no idea what safe voltages for sandy bridge are but if you can, try nudging the voltage up a bit and see what happens. Also try using a program like CPU-Z to monitor your voltage and the differences at idle and load.

Have you overlcocked your CPU using the "Offset" feature in Bios ? An incorrect offset can cause the CPU to undervolt at idle.

Sorry been busy, forgot to reply. Anyway, I've turned all power management features off, I've used the CPU multiplier in the BIOS to overclock, I'll monitor the voltages with CPU-Z and report back. Thanks for help so far guys.
