Hey all,
Installed my 2nd 6950 today and I'm getting some problems.
Both the cards have been unlocked and singularly they can both handle 900/1375. When I got my 2nd card I uninstalled the current and put the new one in to unlock. I then put my older one back in and clocked them to 880/1375 this played games nicely and I noticed even the top card was only at 72C so I decided to whack it up to 900Mhz. This caused a BSOD but because I had set up MSI to overclock on startup I couldn't boot up normally anymore. Instead of booting up in safe mode I decided to reformat because I'd already backed up ready to do so.
After installing drivers I reinstalled MSI but now even when I try to go back to 880/1375 I get a BSOD as soon as I hit apply. When I overclock with CCC I don't BSOD when I go to 840/1325 (the max). However if I try to do the same overclock in MSI I still BSOD...
The BSOD refers to atikmdag.sys but I haven't read it in-depth.
All this is at 1125mV.
Cheers,
Joe.
