Hi all i am having major problems since installing my new memory

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-190-CS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=813

I bought it the day before xmas eve and have had no end of bother since.
I get random blue screens either in game or just browsing the net!
they range from bad memory management to irql not equal to or less.

The thing is when i run with just one of the sticks it doesnt matter which one everything is fine!!!! no bsods!
My system is as follows
Intel core 2 duo E6600 running at stock 2.4ghz
mobo ausustex P5NT WS bios revision 1104
GFX radeon hd4890
ram as the link above

Any help would be greatly appreciated as its driving me up the walls!!

I've had quite bad luck with ram and these issues are the same as I have had. As ishoeyi said use memtest and see if there are faults with the ram and if there is RMA them. Also check in bios if the ram settings (timings, clock, voltage) is correct as this can cause instability.

Give it 1.95-2v and if possible set timings/speed manually. The reason one stick works fine is that its in single channel mode, much easier on everything, dual channel might need a little voltage boost.

To preempt any questions on voltage, no, 2v will not fry the RAM.

i will run memtest at the weekend what are over clockers like for returning ram?

Is it fine with either one of the sticks in on there own?

With possible faulty ram try one stick and a few passes of memtest86, try the other stick. If any of them get errors try it in a different slot, need to make sure its also not the ram slot as well as the mem stick.

Ive found that if RAM is faulty enough to cause errors often then it will show up pretty quickly in memtest.
