ripped my adsl scoket extension out without thinking..now i need to fix it back..but i dont know what wires go where..the back only has one row of 3 idc connecters on the right hand side..the top is numbered 5 and the bottom is 4...ive always seen the numbers used as 2 and 5..and on opposite sides....for blue with white bands and white with blue bands..so if theres just one side with 3 and neither has number 2...how is it wired?

thanks but thats the normal 2, 3 .5 numbering. The socket by fitted for my extesnion has only numbers 4 and 5. Also those other sockets have 4 idc's and this has just 3. So im still confused.

I've taken a pic of my extension box in the hope that it may be of some help :)
Looks like blue to 5 and blue/white to 4

[EDIT] Just thought I'd add, this socket is wired to the main socket downstairs. Also, this extension box has an RJ11 socket as opposed to a standard telephone socket.
