Finally able to get on my BT account and pick a deal to renew my broadband for another two years (had previously been blocked by BT putting the Fibre Update equipment in the basket themselves). That included picking a date for the long awaited Fibre update which was offered as 4th June.
Fast forward 24 hours and an email arrived from Openreach saying the work will be done on 7th July!
Not the end of the world but just wondered if anyone else has had a similar discrepancy.
Now got to decide where the new router will go. Ideally next to the main PC in a upstairs bedroom so I can use an ethernet cable, though that means convincing the installer to run the cable round the other end of the house and up the wall.
