BT are now changing ip profiles?

Yesterday i was at 6821 kbps as per
today my ip profile is 135 kbps is this a new thing bt are doing
limiting heavy users by changing and locking the ip profile?
My download speed is now 128k isdn speeds got to laugh at
these complete clowns.They still seem to think we should be grateful
with whatever they give us and still fail to realize that we are paying them
a private business for a service.

The IP profile has nothing to do with BT Retail (who, presumably, are your ISP).

The people that do have any responsibility it, BT Wholesale, don't give a toss about your usage - the reason the profile's dropped automatically is because your sync rate's dropped low enough to prompt that profile level.
It isn't locked either - stay synced at a high enough rate for long enough (should be 3 days) and the profile will automatically increase again.
