BT (BT.com/sport) is offering Sky Sports 1 or Sky Sports 2 for £6.99 a month to BT customers on selected TV, Broadband and Call packages.

New customers switching to BT and ordering online a BT Broadband, phone call and digital TV package starting from £17.99 a month can also qualify for the offer.

The £17.99 package provides up to 20Mb broadband speeds, unlimited weekend phone calls to UK landlines and up to 50 Freeview digital TV channels with the BT Vision + box.

The broadband service comes with the BT Home Hub wireless router, advanced McAfee security, a 40GB monthly download usage allowance, plus unlimited Wi-Fi minutes to use at over a million Wi-Fi hotspots across the country.

The unlimited weekend phone call plan includes no connection charge for new lines, which means if a new customer needs a new BT phone line installed, they won’t be charged BT’s usual fee of up to £122.

The BT Vision + box also offers the latest on demand TV, kids shows and blockbuster films, with over 7,200 pay per view shows to watch at the touch of a button.

Existing BT customers who are happy with their existing BT Broadband and BT phone call package can order BT Vision digital TV from £7.50 a month and then pay from just £6.99 a month for Sky Sports 1 or 2, or £11.99 a month for both.

Sky Sports 1 & Sky Sports 2 can be pre-ordered online now at the BT.com/sport website and there’s nothing to pay until the 1st of August – just in time for the new football season.

Has anyone here got BT Vision already? I'm interested in this as we already have BT Broadband/Landline and I've always thought Sky was too expensive. It works out cheaper if you take a similar package with Sky, but their broadband don't cover our area.

Would anyone consider BT Vision now that they have the Sky Sports channels?
