bt broadband bill wtf

i signed up for the bt broadband option 3 about 3 week ago and i couldn't be more happy with the speeds and so on, but i just received a bill from bt which is £54.22 now as is the case in this day and age when i phoned up to ask about this i ended up talking to some one from india and couldnt understand a word they said and am still confused about my bill whats happened :confused:
 
downloaded about 4gb since i started and 2gb of that was demos on xbox live so its not that :confused:
 
do bt charge you the first 3 months in one go ????

can confirm its for 3 months minus the discount ffs because bt didnt send out the direct debit forms when i started the broadband up they just waited and sent out a quaterly (sp) bill instead so i have to wait until december to start up the direct debit now

They started charging my broadband and phone bill (calls and rental) in one amount. Check that they havn't switched from 2 seperate deductions to one.

We had the same thing, there is a one change-over fee setup charge or something, our line was already broadband enabled and we still got charged. Then there is the line rental and something else. But ours was nearly exactly the same price.
