Long story short, got BT broadband installed at my house. They told me no connection charge yada yada, they had to install a phone line etc for the broadband.

I got charged 130 quid, basically. I was told multiple times no connection charge would be issued, so I phone them over a week ago they say no problem 130 will be returned it's now been 10 or more days and it's still not been returned? I am at a total loss, it's nearly a month since I had my broadband installed and i'm still 130 down and told by multiple advisors it would be returned.

What is my next course of action? this is just ridiculous. I'm thinking on Monday im going to phone their complaints phone line. I'm also tired of talking to someone in India, I should have just got virgin... so much better.

Call your bank and tell them BT took money out in error and you want them to get the money back under the direct debit mandate

Can I do that though? It's been nearly a month I think.

If I had known earlier I'd definitely have done this.

Email [email protected], it goes to the executive complaints team.

Ill try phone their complaints today if that does not resolve it I will email that.

How has this been going a month and you haven't raised it as a complaint yet? That should have been your first port of call!

Because I phoned them assumed oh yeah it'll all be sorted she said she'll put in request to get refund put through no problems... I leave it then all of sudden its just NOT BEEN DONE...at all?

I'm pretty disgusted tbh, I don't mind it taking ages but it just obviously wasn't even done like I said.
