BT Broadband - How long does it take for BT Sport to be activated on Sky box?

As above. We signed up with and ordered BT Unlimited Broadband last night and entered the Sky+ box viewing card number etc, during the sign up process. This morning we received a 'Welcome' email from BT which said we could access it now despite our broadband not being activated until the 16th June. I downloaded the app for BT Sport on my Hudl tablet and it said I needed to 'activate' BT Sport in My BT account. So I did and the app works fine on the tablet. However, if I try viewing BT Sport on my Sky+ HD box it just shows the screen telling you to upgrade to receive this channel.

So how long does it take for your Sky viewing card to be paired up with BT Sport?
 
Weird. Still nothing here, but I admit I'm maybe being a little impatient as it was only this time last night I placed the order.

I'm 100% sure we entered the correct one during sign up. That said, where do I go to check what they have on record for the viewing card number, just to make sure? Within 'MyBT' somewhere?
 
Just found the viewing card number they have on record for me within the order confirmation email and its correct.
 
Errrm.......I feel like a n00b. I was checking the BT Sport HD channels. Didn't realise it was only the SD channels you get free, they are up and running. Doh!
 
Oh - you only get the SD channels free now?
I had and still have the HD channels for free with my BT Infinity connection.
