Ive had enough of these people from india wherever... on the other side of the planet trying to tell me that my BT HOME HUB is working fine and theres nothing they can do for me.

Basically its connected at 8,080kb and when i do a speed test its only downloading at 2,700kb, the hub is rubbish and keeps dropping.

They tell me to do the same thing, pull the power out and reset it then it should be ok. Now they trying to tell me that because i have electrical equipment next to the hub, thats my problem. Its a joke!!

So can someone provide me with a number (someone who speaks english) that i can ring BT to complain about the quality of the router, and the fact that i will be receiving my BT broadband phone in 8 weeks time isnt good enough.
I want an upgraded router that can provide me with the speed that I AM PAYING FOR! with out constant drops in the service!

Thank you for your help

Just ask for a normal router. Also your not really paying for 8mb at all, your paying for the best speed your line can take, so that may well of been 1mb. Now if your line can take 8mb thats a different story.

Also just phone the business number 0845 600 70 20 and say you made a mistake, talk nice and ask to be passed on to someone english in the home bt department.

Also this might help

Probably has nothing to do with the router.

If it's only recently been upgraded to Max (up to 8Mb) then the data profile will stay at its old rate for a few days. The line drops are normal while the line is still in it's early 'training' period.
