quick question to a total wireless idiot (me)

we have moved premises and got our new bt internet.
in the past the past me and another pc were connected by cable to the hub and another 2 wireless-ly.
the reverse is happening now (hub position has changed) and our 2 pc's must connect using wireless.

now, we don't have wireless cards in our pc's and it wouldn't be practical to do so.

so what is the best way to connect?
usb wireless adaptors?
a wireless router of some kind?

got no experience with wireless so not sure.

cheers

usb wireless

how big is the office? you know you can buy a 100m cat 5 cable and jsut run it round the edge of the office to a hub and then plug both PC's into the hub OR jsut run two long network cables

small office but the hub is now on a different floor so a cable just wouldn't work.

any particular usb wireless you recommend or are they more or less the same?

The ones I use

install about 50 over the past few years on xp, vista and W7 never had an issue, never had to replace one becasue of compatibility / signal issue and I have also swapped out quite a few other N adapters for these to resolve signal issues...

I always use windows zero wireless not the utility provided...

if the office is directly above look at drilling a hole in the floor... wireless is never ideal for business!

cheers - ordered a couple.

can't really drill a hole in the floor but this will do - mainly basic browsing and email is all they are used for.
