BT Business Hub for non BT ISP

We've just taken out a business broadband package with Talk Talk for our new office and I'm looking for some advice about which modem to get.

I declined the TalkTalk modem because they wanted £30+Vat for it.

I've got a Belkin ADSL2+ modem which we're going to use until we get a better one but I was just wondering if the BT Business Hub's can be used with other service providers such as TalkTalk or whether they can only be used with BT? In particular, I'm looking at the BT 2701HGV.

Possible, but not worth the hassle (IMO).

They don't like anything but BT ADSL credentials. You can flash the firmware, but it's not worth the hassle as Bremen says.

Bt business hubs dont even work properly with bt. Give it a wide miss
