BT Business Hub - for use at home?

I've been given a new BT Business Hub and I was wondering if anyone had ever tried to use one at home?

I've heard that these are quite reliable with good wireless but that I may have to re flash it with some strange firmware?

does anyone have any experiance with these? it's the silver and black one.
I've tried connecting to the internet with it but it just asks for my BT Business username and password before I get anywhere.

does anyone have any good ideas? only websites I can find are full of dead links

If it is the 2WIRE hub, all you should need is your ADSL username and password. I use one in my shop. Very reliable.

AFAIK there would be no need to flash it, even for use outside BT. I'll have a fiddle with this one if I have the chance.

Don't use the CD as it's configured for BT Business BB. I use one of the older 1800HGs here at home and it's rock solid (although I am on BT so it needs no configuration other than a username/password).

Which ISP are you on? You'll need to go straight into the default gateway (http://192.168.1.254 as default) to configure your username/password/other ISP-related gubbins.
