At the moment in the volunteer centre we have a BT business hub (4 port) and a wired 10/100 switch to service 6 desktops and a network business copier/printer.
We also have an office directly across the road above a bookies that we want to use wirelessly.
The current business router does reach across the road but it has a very flaky connection and we want to be able to use 2 or 3 laptops up there at certain times.
We did try putting a wireless switch in the window of the volunteer centre but it really made no difference.
So, I am thinking of ditching the router and switch and putting in an 8 port N300/600 router and buying a few dongles.
Is this a good solution or what would you recommend.
