BT Business Hub

I've been trying to configure an Edimax 'wireless extender' to work with a BT Business hub but have been running up against a few problems.

Is this hub normally such a pig's arse to configure and is it normally so obtuse? Everything about the hub seems to be hidden or in some way put on a side road. Does anyone have any experience in working with these things and have any advice on how to suitable pair them with range extenders?

Conider binning it or using a wirelesss extender in the BT and another at the extended location.

The last one i tried to configure for port forwarding was a horrbile as it would just not let me fwd to a IP instread forcing it to have to goto a PC.

The BT business hub is widely regarded as crap, including BT Openreach engineers.

the hub is indeed terrible for anything beyond a basic router.

Is this the 2wire 2700-HGV? my wireless N devices wouldn't connect to it.
