BT Digital Voice Line Switch Broadband Only

I currently have a legacy fibre 2 contract with BT that I don't wish to change, it includes a phone which has not been plugged in for years (I use my mobile only). I have my own home network set up exactly how I want it and don't wish to use the Hub BT are sending me. Will I still be able to use my old Openreach Modem (Huaweii) connected to my Mesh network and not bother with the hub if I have no need to connect a landline. I have spoken to BT customer services to see if I can get an answer but no one I spoke too was sure.

The Hub sounds like it’s just a router. If that’s the case then yes, you can just ignore it and keep using what you’ve got set up

Yeah, just shove the BT Hub in a cupboard and forget about it. Don't bin it though, BT will ask for it back if you leave.

As above, just keep it how it is. The new hubs have a port for VoIP phones and as you're not interested in that, you don't need it!
