Im not sure but I think our Belkin F5D7633-UK router has started to act flakey and when it goes awol it will just refuse to sync up or whatever its called! I can see the dsl is working but the wan ip and default gateway isnt there which means no broadband.
The upstream and downstream data appears so I know something is working so could it be the modem or bt doing something? It died again late last night and I had to hard reset about 5 or 6 times and re-config everything and it still wouldnt work so I gave up and turned in for the night. Checked first thing this morning and so far everything is ok again. I have a good quality microfilter thats built into the main bt socket, bought from adsl nation and that really did improve things. I seem to remember gaining a whole 2meg just by fitting it. The only thing I have not tried is another dsl modem. I have a bt home hub v2.0 but im not keen on these things unless anyone can convince me its worth using?
