BT Dual Band WiFi Kit 600

hi,

i have virgin media super hub 1, which is broadcasting at 2.4ghz

i am looking for a new usb wifi adapater for my pc and encountered BT Dual Band WiFi Kit 600 for £12 on well know supplier store
it includes a new 5ghz transmitter and dual band 300mbps adapter

is it worth it to buy it compared that a adapter alone will cost me £10 for a 300mbps 2.4ghz?

its look like a no brainer, but is there a catch?

I bought one of those just for the wifi dongle alone. I have the Bt wifi 900 dongle which perfroms very well with my HomeHub 5 (I get my full 74mbps one floor above the router).

The dongle in the pack is used on my brothers PC in the loft and he gets around 50-60mbps so it's a decent dongle just for the price. You can use the 5ghz add-on if it offers you an increase in speed but the dongle is worth it at that price alone.
