Hi All,

Just a quick query about the BT Engineer charges. I'm wanting to know if BT would charge you if there were any faults with the cable / socket attached to your house, or is it up them to fix.

Currently having some Broadband issues and they're wanting to send an engineer, I've eliminated the router, cables and filter. However if the socket turns out to be faulty who's responsibility is it to fix it?

Cheers

Master socket is covered but if it turns out to be an extension the Engineer will simply isolate or remove it to give you a working service.
