Put the RJ45 in the BT faceplate and the RJ11 in the DSL port on the router.
I didn't think to check the BT faceplate, I just assumed it was RJ11 as it was a phone socket. That explains the confusion.![]()
The faceplate should be able to take RJ11 or RJ45. The RJ45 connector has a better fit though. If you have an ethernet cable (Which you should have) then see if it plugs into the socket on the faceplate.
So the RJ11 end of the cable plugs into the routers DSL port and the RJ45 end to the faceplate.
