Wireless is dropping all the time, somehow turning my phones wifi off and on again makes it work again.
I was fed up of the dropouts, so I bought some powerline's. They've got 3 Ethernet ports on the top, plugged everything in...nothing. Spent a good 4 hours researching and almost coming to the conclusion they were broken, till I took the cables out 1 by 1 on the router, then I somehow had a wired connection on the PC. I had ports 1(connected directly from router to firetv) and port 4(connected to powerline). If I plug another cable in then everything gets disconnected. Not sure if the cables make a difference, but they are Cat7 ones.
I did try to swap the cable from PC to Xbox, but it didn't work. I think I'd need to turn the router off and back on again for the Xbox to recognise it. But that problem can wait.
Shedding any light on the matter would be a great help. Cheers.
