BT Home Hub 2.0 - Dif router required.

My BT Home Hub 2.0 is driving me mad.

I am after a nice solid, no hassle router that is not going to cause me connection problems with L4D2 and BC2.

Netgear DGN1000 is a pretty standard unit, so should be fine.

I have the same problem, I have changed router and tbh it's a waste of time, BT are just rubbish full stop, one minute I have 6Mb the next minute it can be 1.5Mb and pings are all over the place, BT are CRAP

The actual net connection and pings I cannot fault. Its just those two games, of which I play the most !

I cant see a reason why id need something of a higher spec than that ?

Thomsom-based routers do have issues with source games. Any Netgear with a Broadcom chipset should overcome the issue.

FYI DGN1000 has the SerComm chipset. Check out the DGN2200 as it has the Broadcom chipset.
