Hi

I just switched over to bt on Thursday and connected my iPhone ps4 etc
My iPhone seems really slow in wifi on games with slow loading pages etc
Its faster if i switch to 3G .
Could it just need time for the line to settle?
Or are there any tips to improve performance ?

Cheers

I got a home hub 4 when I moved house in September. After three weeks of awful wireless performance with frequent signal drops I went back to my trusty Billion 7800n and my WiFi has had no problems since.

It is awful .if I fetch my emails on my iPhone it takes like 45 seconds to retrieve them.on ail it took a few seconds if that.games that are connected to Internet are slow as well to the point 3G is faster.
Disappointed to say the least.i expected more from the home hub 4.
Wish I'd stuck to aol now.
Anyone got any tips for HH4 beat channels to use with iPhone or anything

Whatever's the least congested, see if there's an app which can scan the surrounding channels. However it seems wierd that other wireless devices are fine...

Which iPhone is it? If it has 5ghz support then I would try swapping over to the 2.4ghz band, or vice versa.

Its the 4s .I have set the 5gz as a sepearte network now and set it so it wont sync with the 2.4gz band but still its not good going to have to try different channels and see if one is better than the other.
The kindle does seem better now and i have used a wifi scanner to see if any interference and nothing really.
