BT Home Hub 5 channels

Hi All i,m wondering if changing my wifi channel on the BT Home Hub 5 with Infinity 2 would make much difference with my wifi connection ,i downloaded the software InSSIDer and notice no one around me is on channel 40 on 5ghz ,or would it be best to leave it on auto ? any views thanks

It's one of those things you just need to try. For the five minutes it'll take it's a worthwhile experiment.

If the router is on auto then a reboot will do what you need it to. When it comes up it will scan locally and move to an appropriate alternative if needed.
