BT Home Hub / Infinity - Dodgy Hub or BT Fault? Not loading websites.

My little bro has just had Infinity / YouView installed in his new pad, all was hunky dory yesterday with both TV and BB working all fine and dandy.

Today however websites / PSN / mobile websites are having issues with loading images on some website via mobile, PSN is not connecting (and also EA SPORTS FOOTBALL CLUB), desktop sites (AO.com, Twitter etc) just refuse to load with webpage cannot be displayed errors.

I've rebooted the Hub, checked firewall, UpNp, Port Forwarding (opened up PSN ports to see if it was that, made no difference), checked Windows Network settings.

Anything else I/we can try please? Is it a BT issue or possibly a Hub fault? All was working fine yesterday (when it was installed) so odd for it to go like this today.

I can ping and resolve BT's mail server DNS fine. I initially thought it was DNS issue but no so sure now.

Can you ping and traceroute external to the BT network?
Tried with alternative DNS? 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 are googles iirc

Could be an MTU issue?

Try Google DNS.

Post traceroutes if he's still having an issue.

Shouldn't be on fibre, but in any case it was working fine before

Is is any better with cable directly plugged into home hub? It's not unknown to have a faulty box.

Wierdly it's all back to normal and ok today.
I tried to look for MTU settings on the Home Hub but couldn't find any

Tried both wireless and wired and both were showing the same issues.

If it happens again try use Google DNS - 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
