damn BT.

OK. Now the Home Hub has a bug/feature where you can only get a open NAT if the device in question is using DHCP.

Now the problem with this is it keeps assigning my Xbox 360 a IP and Subnet mask that my network is not running on.

So with my 360 I can only use XBox Live. I can't access the other features like media streaming as that computer is not on the same network.

Changing the computers on the network is not a option. Why? Because I'm not working around BTs crap router.

So... anyone had the displeasure of using the Home Hub and can guide me into changing this?

What IP address and subnet mask does it give your computers? My HomeHub (I think all of them) have the default IP of 192.168.1.254 and subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 The first address it gives is 192.168.1.64 and then 192.168.1.65 and so on. It should assign all DHCP addresses the same, do your computers use DHCP?

Also My HomeHub allows me to set a user defined computer where I can enter an IP address for a port mapping, this is on firmware version 6.2.2.6

IP: ---------
SUbnet: 255.0.0.0
DNS: ----------

No, none of my computers use DHCP. I like to know the IP addresses of each device which is why I go static.

Looking in the admin panel everything looks fine. So I dont understand where it's getting its info from.

What IP addresses do you use on your devices then (static ones?) The detailes you posted above are the DHCP between the HomeHub and BT (Your ISP) including your public IP address and are no help, you might want to edit it out.

IP address are 192.168.1.##
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
DNS: 192.168.1.254 (homehub)

I guess then because my 360 is in the DMZ it's giving the 360 those details.

Yeah it would if it was in the DMZ, that's why you also can't see the rest of the network. Are you not able to select 'user defined' when assigning port mappings to a device? I can do that on my HomeHub but I am running version 6.2.2.6 firmware on it.

I think I can. I am running the same version. Just don't know where I would find this or what I would do.

It's on the drop down on the application sharing page:
