bt home hub need advice for a different hub

whats not wrong with it. have had problems from day 1 with xbox 360 and now its all over the place have been through six of these. if any one wants to buy one by the way i have plenty. and anyways they are so unstable just really want something decent.
 
Ring them up and get them to take it back and give you a voyager or something, I had a bt home hub, and our internet was supposed to run at 7mb but it was running at 130 kb if it was even on :mad: . So we rang up bt technical help got through (to india) and they told us that it was deffinately not the hub (I expected it was) and that our line was probably faulty. They then told us that they had fixed it but they hadn't.

They sent out and engineer who told us that it was the hub and that many people had had this problem and that one family went through loads before they got one that worked. So we plugged our old router back in and we had to wait a couple of days for the connection to be reset and hey presto we had 7mb broadband.

Now my dad has complained to the extent that they are sending us the months payment back that we had payed (and not actually used), 3 months free, a bt voyager router (as ours doesn't support the phone) worth £70 and a free wireless internet phone worth £50. :D

My dad is like a dog with a bone when it comes to getting what he payed for.

I spoke to an Indian woman on BT support last week and couldn't understand a word she was saying, how is that helpful? I found myself saying 'im sorry what!?' every other sentence :(

What was funny was when my mum spoke to them she got nothing, I went on the phone to sort them out and every 5 seconds "sorry sir" "very sorry sir" rofl :D . They are useless if they get taken off their script they are lost. Is your internet running at the speed you were told it would when you bought the package?
