Hi
Just wondered if a Netgear WPN311 Rangemax PCI Adapter would be any better than the slightly cheaper Netgear WG311T Adapter, for hooking up to a BT Home Hub?
I currently have my PC wired to an old-ish Netgear DG834G router upstairs, but in this household we are going to switch to a BT Home Hub downstairs to help improve the wireless connection of another PC and make use of the included phone, so my PC needs to go wireless. I know of all the issues people have with the HH but I aim to give it a try, and if there's huge problems we can just switch back to the Netgear router.
I know the NG Rangemax card is optimised for use with the matching Rangemax router (I guess the HH doesn't have a similar feature?) but would using that Rangemax adapter with the HH help maintain a more stable connection from my PC at all? Or should I just try with the regular NG card instead?
Hope that all makes sense. Thanks.
